Being one of the guys that probably told you - "if you're not at point X" I'll try to give you some realistic encouragement too. Bless those kind folks at Astral but unilateral encouragement is silly. I wouldn't tell a 22 year old to think about their options and settle down. I wouldn't tell a 45 year old with kids, a wife, and a full time job to leave it all behind and chase their dream. They've made choices. Knowing you personally and producing your work, I know you've made some choices.

Being an artist is insanely difficult. You're everything. The manager, the PR team, the writer. At the end of the day there is very little time left to enjoy doing what you set out to do in the first place. I never write "for fun" anymore, it's always to achieve a goal or meet a deadline. The whole label mentality of being swept up by a golden carpet to become a rock star, that's not really an option. The Illinois lotto presents a more feasible reality. The small time I spent with semi "rock star" status was confusing and disappointing. As an independent artist, I'm nowhere near where I feel I need to be.

The best option is to be your absolute best at _everything_ you do. Whether it's Bounte, your dayjob, or doing beats and design for some shitty startup company. The results might not ever be what you'd envisioned. Or they might be even greater. See. That was encouraging.

That was so cool, Dean; finally got to listen. That's quite a recorder. Neat, seeing your home from above, while listening to the ambience.

It is in fact, Number Nine playing. It was a nice afternoon at an old-fashioned block party. Not a street festival with admission and a huge stage, but a fairly informal, block-the-street-with-your-garbage-cans and serve potato-salad kind of thing.

It has a dehumidifier setting too. It evaporates the water and shoots it out the window through the exhaust tube, so there is no tank to empty. Although it does have a drain tube if it gets too full.

Would that be a dehumidifier in drag? Do you have to empty a container? Can you run a drain hose into the shower?

Excellent.....but where's the "na na na na n na na na"? Anyway, I was picturing Will Smith in one of his serious film roles. This music would kick in somewhere in the middle to end of the movie when he gets pissed and takes action. Your track has a totally different feel from what gets radio play. I like the wind chimes. It reminds me of summertime, which, since you also use the chimes as an outro, you could possibly some day lead it into a remix of Jazzy Jeff/Fresh Prince's "Summertime". Serious "Summertime" though.
